Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, the role supports strategic goals, including the shift from Fee-For-Service to Value-Based Care. Shift: Days Job Summary & Responsibilities The Associate Medical Director offers medical leadership, delivers patient care, supervises providers, and oversees quality initiatives. Working closely with the Chief Medical Officer, the role supports strategic goals, including the shift from Fee-For-Service to Value-Based Care. Key Responsibilities Provide and manage direct patient care including evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment. Prescribe medications and treatment plans as medically appropriate. Refer patients to specialists and coordinate interdisciplinary care. Lead and manage the performance of site providers including mentoring and annual evaluations. Participate in on-call rotations. Track and manage value-based care metrics and lead quality improvement (QA/QI) efforts. Facilitate M&M sessions and participate in clinical education and development activities. Collaborate with CMO on implementation of clinical policies, protocols, and strategic initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and accreditation standards. Actively support the health center's mission, values, and patient-centered care philosophy.
