Contract ~ 1 YEAR Location: Burbank, CA Hybrid: Tuesday-Thursday in-office What We Do / Project Overview The Design Lead is a strategic, hands-on leader who drives design vision, leads UX research and implementation, and delivers high-quality, production-ready designs. They work closely with product, business, and technical teams to align platform goals with user needs and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Set and execute a human-centered design strategy across workstreams Lead platform evolution, UX research, and design execution in agile cycles Maintain and evolve the design system and other ops resources Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data Science, Engineering) Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility, and design consistency Present UX work to stakeholders and leadership Tools Must-Have Skills 5+ years leading design teams 8+ years in UX design (Figma expertise required) Proven innovation, leadership, and stakeholder collaboration Preferred Experience Background in Finance, Media, or Entertainment Soft Skills Proactive, user-focused, and agile-driven Strong communicator and visual storyteller Comfortable with data visualization and large data sets Accessibility and scalable product design experience Interview Process 1st round with Hiring Manager 2-3 rounds with Project Leads Other Info Seniority level
