Visual Merchandiser supports the management team in achieving goals by providing world-class service. Serves as a role model for building relationships with customers. Maintains presence through store supervision to ensure appropriate staff coverage areas. Responsibilities
Create engaging experiences for customers by sharing expertise on styling, decorating, and entertaining. Seek out and promote innovative ways to make the brand a neighborhood destination for inspiration. Interpret and execute visual inspiration to drive sales and convey the eclectic, creative, and modern spirit of the brand. Ensure merchandising and displays are visually compelling to drive sales. Model and coach associates on upholding visual standards. Promote the lifestyle and protect the image of the brand. Make the store a fun, inspirational neighborhood destination. Seek out inspiration, trends, and ways to elevate product, decorating, and styling expertise. Replenish the sales floor regularly and maintain visual presentation and displays. Execute floorsets reflecting the brand's standards and spirit within the required timeframe. Foster a fair and respectful environment for all associates, in line with our People-First Philosophy. Collaborate with the sales team, appreciating and valuing their contributions. Be accountable for brand competencies such as strategic agility, innovation, leadership, effective communication, team development, customer focus, personal accountability, operational excellence, and execution. 1-3 years of experience in merchandising or visual roles. 1-2 years experience in home-related design or visual merchandising preferred, especially in specialty retail. Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions. Physical Requirements
College degree or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to move on the sales floor for extended periods. Operate POS system. Lift and move items up to 75 pounds safely. Availability to work a minimum of two weekend shifts and additional weekday shifts, with flexible scheduling to meet business needs. Benefits
This role offers a competitive compensation package, with an anticipated pay range of $16.00-$17.00 per hour, based on various factors.
