You will lead the design direction and execution of Handshake's design system, Rosetta, across all platforms and verticals, working closely with a dedicated product designer. As our system is in its early stages, you'll define and create components, shaping the next generation of our product. Your Role
Define and implement the Handshake design system and visual language, from guidelines to type stacks and atom components. Establish a structured and strategic approach to building a comprehensive system library, collaborating with engineering to align, execute, and deploy it across the company. Launch pilot experiences on mobile and web, and define success metrics to evaluate them. Work with the brand team to ensure the design system reflects Handshake's brand and values visually and interactively. Create processes for designers and engineers to contribute to the system. Collaborate with product designers to improve existing components and develop new ones. Empower teams to adopt and contribute to the design system. Participate in design reviews to promote adoption and address new component needs. Your Experience
4-6+ years of experience designing for consumer and enterprise products, with a focus on design systems. Compensation Range
$150,000 - $180,000 Salary ranges are set based on role, level, location, and market benchmarks. Final offers depend on experience, location, and other factors. About Us
