Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Position Overview LSL is seeking an experienced real estate attorney admitted to the New York bar with specialized expertise in commercial leasing and other transactional matters. Key responsibilities for the role focus on but are not limited to: Draft and negotiate complex agreements related to:
Commercial leasing Real property acquisitions and dispositions Joint ventures and investment structures Condominium and cooperative formations and transactions Construction, design, and professional services contracts
Advise on corporate governance, private equity, and real estate financing (mortgage, mezzanine, debt, and equity structuring) Support clients with real estate development, land use, and entitlement matters What You Bring to the Table
4+ years of transactional experience with a focus on leasing Admitted to the New York bar Ability to take ownership and run a transaction from start through completion Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity Creative and practical lawyering What We Bring to the Table
Competitive compensation: $175,000 – $250,000, depending on experience + discretionary bonus + performance-based bonus based on billable hours Work-life balance: minimum annual billable hour requirement of 1700 hours Unlimited PTO and 11 public holidays Hybrid, 3 days a week in office in Dumbo, Brooklyn (easily accessible from Manhattan) Direct client contact and high-impact, varied work Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Sales and Management Industries Legal Services
