Notes: Seeking a Strong Azure SQL DBA - Must have Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks experience/exposure. ElevatePFS - Azure SQL DBA Screening Questions: What is your experience working with Azure Data Factory and Azure DataBricks? How have you implemented CI/CD pipelines for database-related tasks in Azure, and what challenges have you faced? Can you describe your experience managing SQL Server databases in Azure? Specifically, how have you handled performance tuning, backup and recovery, monitoring, and security configurations in Azure You are tasked with optimizing a SQL query that has performance issues. What steps would you take to identify bottlenecks and improve the query's performance, especially in a large-scale data environment? Describe your experience migrating on-premises SQL Server databases to Azure. What tools did you use, and what were the main challenges you encountered during the migration process? What strategies have you used to ensure high availability and disaster recovery for SQL Server databases in an Azure environment?
Can you walk me through your approach to setting up Always On Availability Groups or other high availability configurations? The purpose of this position is to perform SQL Server Administration including: install/configure new SQL servers, deploy database change scripts provided by developers, perform all SQL server related IT tickets. The position is also responsible for SSRS,SSIS related administrative support and assist in troubleshooting errors, permission problems and change control. Index creation, management, statistics 4. utomation, scripting, agent jobs 5. vailability Groups, Backups, and Restores 6. Propose technical solutions to business problems on a proactive basis 7. Other duties as assigned.
