Your role within the team:
A contracts administrator is required to support the execution of a major transit project in Surrey, BC. The contracts administrator will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the procurement department with the negotiation of all commercial aspects associated with supply and subcontract procurement packages.
- Managing the procurement of various supply and subcontract packages if required.
- Administer all commercial matters associated with various supply contracts and subcontracts, including but not limited to progress claims, change, disputes, performance monitoring and ongoing relationship management.
- Support the project controls team with inputs into cost control matters, including month end reporting associated with all packages of responsibility.
- Support the Commercial Manager with prime contract change management activities associate with packages of responsibility.
- Support the Commercial Manager with risk management activities associate with packages of responsibility.

The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 4 years experience delivering transit projects, particularly in a self-perform capacity
- Takes ownership and responsibility for commercial outcomes
- Is a team player who can confidently engaged across multi-discipline teams
- Has relevant qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying or construction management

Bachelor degree in either engineering, quantity surveying, or construction management.

Expected compensation for this role is between $91,900 - $126,400 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
