Recovery Specialist - Addiction Treatment Center Join to apply for the Recovery Specialist - Addiction Treatment Center role at Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services . Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) is a 40-bed detoxification program dedicated to helping men and women with substance use histories who have gone through multiple attempts in treatment. Clients are provided with a short-term intensive treatment program to guide them with their transition to long-term care. Services include individual and group counseling, risk assessment for TB & STDs, HIV education, case management, and after-care follow-up services. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction. The Recovery Specialist’s responsibilities include: Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities; Observing and supervising clients and the unit; Conducting 30-minute client well-being checks; Conducting telephone admission screenings and other admissions duties; Searching client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by the supervisor; Completing all necessary checklists, shift documentation, and record-keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. Qualifications include: High school diploma or GED; Experience working with substance use populations is preferred; Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing is preferred. Beth Israel Lahey Health requires all staff to be vaccinated against influenza (flu) and COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
