Job Title:
Big Data Software Engineer Remote Type:
Office Worker Location:
300 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30005 [Hybrid] Responsibilities:
Design, build, and present data transformation solutions, systems, and applications tailored to telecommunications industry projects such as billing, sales, finance, network, inventory, customer profiling, and marketing. Develop Snowflake data warehouse solutions by understanding business challenges, leveraging Snowflake’s Data Cloud, and staying updated on new features to create demos, PoCs, and industry solutions. Collaborate with teams to develop technical presentations, conduct workshops, and share best practices in data engineering. Integrate Snowflake solutions with major cloud platforms, utilize reference architectures, and build robust data engineering frameworks using Azure, Python, Java, Scala, and Data bricks. Apply data modeling, evaluation, deployment, and governance best practices in Snowflake and relational databases. Work closely with data engineers, architects, and operations teams to develop impactful data solutions and articulate their business value. Conduct detailed analysis of CDO initiatives, translating requirements into feasible Snowflake/cloud solutions. Support project tasks including development, testing, validation, and production deployment. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or Data Analytics. At least 3 years of experience in Snowflake development, data engineering, and related telecommunications industry reporting and data integration. Experience with cloud platforms, reference architectures, and building PoCs. Proficiency in data modeling, evaluation, deployment, governance, and relational database design. Understanding of telecommunications billing and order processing, and database/application usage patterns. Compensation & Benefits:
Annual salary ranges from $137,150 to $175,100, along with comprehensive rewards including health coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, insurance benefits, wellness programs, and employee discounts. Additional Details:
