Our client is seeking a driven Litigation Associate to join their growing team focused on property damage litigation, with a primary emphasis on hurricane-related claims. Our client is seeking a driven Litigation Associate to join their growing team focused on property damage litigation, with a primary emphasis on hurricane-related claims. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious attorney looking for long-term growth, including a clear partner track for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and litigate a docket of property damage claims, primarily related to hurricane losses
Handle depositions, court appearances, motion practice, and hearings
Participate in site inspections, EUOs, and related proceedings as needed
Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute case strategies
Willingness to learn the nuances of property law and insurance litigation
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice in Texas; Oklahoma bar admission strongly preferred
If not licensed in OK, must have 5+ years of active practice and be eligible for admission by waiver
Top 20% of graduating law school class preferred
Some litigation experience required, background in other practice areas is acceptable
Strong oral advocacy and deposition skills; ready to take ownership of litigation tasks
Eager to learn, take direction, and contribute to a fast-paced legal team
