The Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Programming Coordinator to support the successful execution of Bitcoin Amsterdam 2025. Candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of the Bitcoin protocol, including Proof-of-Work and mining, self-custody, technical development, the relationship with the financial sector, and what sets Bitcoin apart from other cryptocurrencies. This 4-month contract role (remote + travel) is responsible for coordinating speaker logistics, session programming, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work directly with the Programming, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to ensure every speaker touchpoint is seamless-from initial outreach to on-stage delivery.
The Work
Speaker Outreach & Communication
Coordinate outreach to prospective speakers and manage ongoing communications. Track speaker confirmations and logistics to ensure timely follow-ups.
Content Programming
Assist the programming team in curating and organizing sessions across multiple stages. Help maintain programming schedules and data accuracy.
Speaker Reimbursements & Contracts
Negotiate reimbursement terms and manage the execution of contracts. Collaborate with the finance team to track payments and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete.
Marketing Support
Work with the marketing team to provide speaker details for promotional use. Coordinate announcement timelines and social rollout plans.
Sales Collaboration
Identify and surface potential speakers from sponsor organizations. Act as a programming liaison to the partnerships team for content alignment.
Inbox Management & Documentation
Manage the primary programming inbox, triaging and responding to speaker-related queries. Maintain organized records of contracts, release forms, and communications using tools like Notion, Airtable, and Google Drive.
You're Experience
Someone with
Bitcoin industry experience
who understands the landscape, the key players, and the ethos that separates Bitcoin from crypto at large. Experience in event production, speaker coordination, or content programming. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Hyper-organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Skilled at managing competing priorities and deadlines. Collaborative and proactive in working across Marketing, Sales, and Finance. Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Airtable, and Notion.

The pay range for this role is:
6,000 - 7,000 USD per month (Remote (Nashville, Tennessee, US))
