We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal workpieces according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various materials and be able to interpret engineering drawings to produce accurate parts.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form metal workpieces. 2. Interpret engineering drawings to determine the correct specifications for each job. 3. Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy in forming metal parts. 4. Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. 5. Perform routine maintenance on brake press machinery to ensure proper functioning. 6. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator or similar role. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties.
