Punch Press Set Up Operator II
Key Responsibilities 1. Set up and operate metal punch press machines to punch, cut, and shape metal parts. 2. Select the appropriate dies and tools based on job requirements. 3. Adjust machine settings such as speed, force, and alignment for optimal performance. 4. Monitor the production process to detect any issues or defects in the parts. 5. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. 6. Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition.
Qualifications: Previous experience as a Metal Punch Press Operator or in a similar role. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent.
