If you are a team player with a passion for bridge inspection, Popli Design Group (PDG) is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our growing team. You will review bridge conditions, prepare reports, coordinate inspections, and mentor junior staff. Effective communication and recent experience with agencies like NYSDOT, TBTA, or NJDOT are required. A valid NYS PE license is preferred. Responsibilities
Evaluate bridge and structure conditions. Review condition reports using agency software or formats. Coordinate with Team Leader to complete inspections and mentor staff. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors. Minimum Requirements
Excellent communication skills for documenting and reporting. Focus on quality work adhering to technical guidelines. Recent bridge inspection experience with NYSDOT, TBTA, Port Authority, NYSTA, or NJDOT. Experience, Education, and Certification
NYS PE license or NJ PE license with ability to transfer. 15-20 years' experience in bridge inspection/QC. NHI Bridge Safety Inspection Course or NYSDOT Workshop. Driver’s license for travel. Work Environment & Physical Demands
Combination of office and field work, in various weather conditions. Ability to perform field inspections and lift up to 50 lbs. About Popli Design Group
