Job Function Summary The Operations Specialist role will support the trading activity of portfolio managers trading listed Futures and Options on Futures. The role will primarily focus on trade processing of Interest Rate Futures, with key responsibilities centered around reconciliation on U.S. exchanges (CME/CBOT). The ideal candidate should have subject matter expertise in the intricacies of back-office trade booking systems (GMI/FIS) and a working knowledge of exchange reporting, static data setup/maintenance, exchange point balance, and margin/funding. The candidate should also be open to working during off-hour shifts. Configure and maintain daily exchange trade clearing and reconciliations using FIS Reconciliation Manager (Intellimatch), CME FEC+, and FIS CD Trade Clearing. Set up and maintain the firm’s account hierarchy, including detailed and ledger accounts, interest, exchange reporting levels, and cash/collateral haircuts within the firm’s clearing and back-office systems. Post daily regulatory adjustments (CFTC PERT, CME LTR-FRP/Open Interest - Position Manager). Review and analyze CME Group exchange reports to research breaks and discrepancies, reconciling differences against the internal back-office booking system. Liaise with exchanges and regulatory bodies, providing responses to inquiries and assisting in the resolution of trade/position reporting, compliance/regulatory inquiries, and margin/collateral-related questions. Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper procedures are in place to efficiently and effectively maintain controls and mitigate risk. Participate in ad-hoc projects/initiatives and collaborate with colleagues across the firm to implement process changes and improvements. Establish working relationships with trading teams to address daily queries promptly and in a controlled manner.Principal Responsibilities

Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services. Experience in Clearing Operations at a Broker/Dealer and/or FCM. Knowledge of Futures back-office clearing systems is essential (GMI, Intellimatch, Front-End Clearing (FEC), CFTC PERT, CME FRP). Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint; comfortable using Macros, Pivot Tables, and working with large data sets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to implement and maintain new processes, procedures, and controls. Fast learner with the ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and ownership.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
