Jobright.ai Amazon is seeking a Business Analyst for their ECG Analytics team to leverage data and analytics for supporting critical business decisions. The role involves managing large projects, enhancing efficiencies, and collaborating with various business teams to drive innovation and deliver actionable insights. Responsibilities: • Drive data-informed decision making through complex analysis of business processes and metrics • Design and implement analytical solutions that inform team strategy and reveal new opportunities • Develop and maintain dashboards, automated processes, and one-time analyses as needed • Execute sophisticated data analysis using SQL, spreadsheets, and visualization tools • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver high-quality solutions • Monitor and analyze key business metrics to maintain awareness of performance trends • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency • Contribute to team strategy and roadmap planning Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience • Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights • Experience with Excel • Experience with SQL • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders Preferred: • Experience with large-scale data analysis with knowledge of business intelligence tools Company: Amazon is a tech firm with a focus on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence.
