The Business Development Associate supports the Team Lead in all aspects of business development, lead generation, and sales. Associate works closely with the Sales Lead to grow the pipeline of qualified leads through outbound engagement and business development activities, scheduling consultations with leads, qualifying and prioritizing leads based on budget, and product fit. Work closely with the TJH operations team and Sales Lead to close new service contracts.
DAY IN THE LIFE:
Provides sales support to the Build team through all stages of the selling process to track all information and follow up to ensure seamless sales engagement. Responsible for taking clients through the 'red zone' of the BUILD and BUILD+ sales process, working closely with the other internal departments to accomplish each task. Allocates potential properties through use of the MLS for BUILD+ clients that have an executed Search Agreement in place. Ensures all follow-up deliverables are completed meeting SLAs to keep moving the prospective buyer through the sales funnel and all committed to deliverables are met. Helps prepare and deliver the Build Analysis in coordination with the Private Client Group team members. Works closely with the team lead through the sales process; together owning scheduling of meetings, appointments in the local design studio, and / or to onsite location visits. Joins design center appointments with the client, guiding them through the selection process, and educating them how their selections will affect their price structure and bottom line. Conducts prospecting and strategically hunts for leads to support the Sales Lead in growing the lead pipeline to work. Builds new and cultivate existing relationships through constant contact and strong customer service to enhance business development efforts. Manage and facilitate communication between clients, internal personnel, and various stakeholders of the transaction. Conducts face-to-face meetings in partnership with team lead in market from the qualification process up until the prospective buyer is ready to make a commitment with the company Attends BUILD open houses and other direct-to-consumer marketing events to provide support in materials, collateral, and takes notes of follow-up items and ensure a timely response. Conduct broker outreach to determine interest and set up meetings for the sales team. Is present with the prospective buyer from first call to the build analysis while ensuring land development and the ops team has all the details needed to conduct a feasibility analysis. Enters lead information, tracks, and follows up after events such as: BUILD Events, Community Fairs, and Open Houses Studies all internal contracts and guidance provided by the TJH legal team in close mentorship with the Team lead. WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
College degree preferred. Real Estate License preferred. 1-4 years of sales support experience. Homebuilding or industry with high sales prices. Construction background preferred. Salesforce experience a plus. WHAT WILL SET YOU A PART:
Understands the selling process and can use a variety of selling techniques. Demonstrates strong business and financial acumen to use throughout the sales process. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills to maintain records, track sales progress and ensure timely follow-up.
