We're looking for a resource with excellent storytelling and data analysis experience. As a Data Analyst, you will partner with the business to understand and meet business needs and outcomes. You will provide comprehensive analysis skills to translate business outcomes into solution requirements using techniques such as facilitation and visual management. A prior experience in the Insurance industry is mandatory since you will be working to empower the existing insurance products or services of the client.
Responsibilities Work on the latest applications of data science to solve business problems in the property and casualty (P&C) Insurance space. Partner with business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into analytics solution requirements. Facilitate large stakeholder groups and manage the complete requirements lifecycle. Conduct structured analysis using both quantitative and qualitative techniques. Analyze data and application suites, and solve problems using a collaborative style. Participate in discussions with team members to select and apply relevant analytic techniques and create actionable business insights. Write complex SQL queries to support data analysis and transformation. Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment. Requirements 7- 10 years of professional work experience with at least 5 years in data analytics. 3-5 years of experience within the property and casualty (P&C) insurance domain is required. Experience in Data Analysis with the ability to drive analysis independently. Robust, hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, coupled with strong Python programming skills and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Use data to drive actionable insights and calculate the impact of various launched features. Strong project management and team management skills, and the ability to work with global teams. A graduate degree in Business Analytics, MBA, or a related field. Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms. Guidewire experience is an added advantage.
