Position: Business Systems & Process Engineering Consultant
Focus on Commercial Contracting and Dispensing Operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in IT or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience in analytics and systems development
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in process documentation and reporting
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Effective communication skills at executive levels, managing complexity, and making independent recommendations
- Experience in change management and team building
- Self-starter with minimal supervision
Accountabilities:
This role reports to the Associate Director, Business Systems & Process Design, supporting Capital Contracting and Dispensing Operations. The position involves partnering with Global Services and external vendors to support daily operations and ongoing improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
The consultant will identify business improvement areas, gather requirements, evaluate, design, and implement business processes and application functionalities in collaboration with IT and business users.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, maintaining communication to improve satisfaction, recommend product enhancements, and manage expectations.
- Participate in business process modeling, acting as a documentarian, facilitator, or SME.
- Conduct interviews and analysis to develop business cases.
- Review project requirements, specifications, testing, support, and training plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Contribute to process management efforts, analyzing metrics for continuous improvement.
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend product or process enhancements.
- Potentially act as a project manager on certain projects.
- Attend and facilitate meetings to analyze project progress and issues.
- Plan and allocate resources for projects and support activities.
- Manage system testing from the business perspective.
- Be the point of contact for support issues, including documentation and troubleshooting.
- Support on-call availability and issue resolution, including documentation and work-around development.
- Assist in developing process documents, staff training, and system enhancements.
