Job Title: Principal Business Analyst (Multiple Openings)
Job Location: Riverwoods, IL
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Responsible for analysis and design of business systems. Typical steps include: diagnosis of need and the development of a related requirement specification, system development planning, creation and implementation of a test plan, on-going project oversight during the development phase and comparison of the solution delivered with the original specifications. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Project Management, Business, Information Technology or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in an Operations Research Analyst-related occupation.
Position Required Skills: Utilizing Data Monitoring Tools like Splunk for indexing, data mining, alerting and observing; Querying (SQL, DB2, SPL, and Snowflake), Cloud Infrastructure & Artificial Intelligence (AWS), Job Scheduling applications (Autosys), Continuous Integration & continuous delivery (GitHub, Jenkins, and Ansible), and OS (UNIX); Capturing requirements and creating detailed user stories with acceptance criteria using tools like JIRA and Rally; Programming languages like Java, Python, and Cobol to understand technical details and leverage them for product requirements, design and documentation; Collaborating with cross functional teams to understand their business requirements, perform end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentation to multiple levels of leadership, and creating visual displays of quantitative information; Documentation requirements & recommending improvements to work processes to increase efficiency; and Communicating complex data concepts & results to stakeholders (both technical and non-technical audiences). Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $138,715 to $153,400. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
