Tax Services Senior - National Tax – Passthrough Transactions Group/Modeling Our National Tax Department (NTD) serves high-profile, national, and multinational clients, providing domestic and international transactional tax planning and advisory services. We leverage our expertise to help clients meet their business objectives responsibly and proactively. The opportunity We are seeking a Partnership Transaction Modeling Senior for our National Passthrough Transactions Group (PTG). You will be instrumental in delivering complex tax planning services across diverse engagements, with excellent opportunities for learning and career growth. What to Expect You will work in small teams on fast-paced projects with internal and external clients, developing financial models, conducting industry research, and communicating your findings. You will gain exposure to various industries and global companies, enhancing your understanding of tax policies and research tools. Your Key Responsibilities Provide tax advisory services on joint venture and partnership tax matters, including acquisitions, formations, operations, restructuring, and dispositions. Prepare detailed financial models to analyze transactional outcomes. Apply complex tax concepts effectively to client situations. Deliver high-quality, timely service to meet critical client needs. Enhance technical skills through mentorship from experienced tax professionals. Guide junior staff and ensure team responsibilities align with skills and goals. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, Financial Engineering, Statistics, or related field, with at least three years of relevant experience; or a graduate degree in these fields, Tax, or Law with over two years of experience. Strong quantitative skills with accounting and corporate finance emphasis. Expertise in MS Excel, capable of building complex financial models. Exposure to federal income taxation. Ability to work independently and learn quickly. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities under deal-driven pressure. Preferred Qualifications CPA certification (advancement needed). Experience modeling tax transactions. Partnership taxation expertise. Experience in client-facing roles.
