TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac and peripheral vascular conditions. This position is ideal for professionals who excel in dynamic clinical environments and are passionate about cardiovascular health.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment to perform echocardiograms, stress tests, and vascular studies.
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide support during invasive and non-invasive testing.
- Maintain and calibrate diagnostic imaging equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Document test results and patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Follow strict infection control, radiation safety, and patient care protocols.
- Adapt quickly to various healthcare settings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
- RCIS, ARRT, or CCI certification preferred or required based on specialty area.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular lab or hospital setting.
- Proficient in diagnostic cardiovascular procedures and patient monitoring systems.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and technical troubleshooting skills.
