CDL Class B, Class A Preferred
Certifications:
Able to pass internal Forklift Training / Test within 90 days of hire
Physical Ability : • Able to occasionally life 60 lbs. • Ability to lift 45 lbs. repeatedly. • Able to climb up to and down from the bed of the truck. • Able to access engine compartment for checking fluids and inspection.
Required: • Knowledge of and experience filling out daily driver logs both manual and electronic • Knowledge of how to perform a CDL truck Pre-Trip & Post Trip inspection per DOT regulations
Responsibilities:

Daily inspection of the truck (Pre-Trip inspection) and effectively communicating the results of this inspection to the mechanic, dispatcher, or your supervisor.
- Delivery of the product in a safe professional and timely manner, your dispatcher or manager will give you the priorities and an estimated time of delivery, usually within a 2-hour window. The driver is expected to communicate with the customer as best he/she can if you they are going to be early or late from that window.
- Use the highest-level courtesy while driving, particularly in residential neighborhoods
- Maintaining the company truck which includes keeping it clean, knowing when the maintenance is due and notifying the proper people when it is. Pay special attention to leaks which could cause damage to customers property.
- Fueling and unloading your truck at the end of each day so that it is ready for the next business day.
- Ensuring all product deliveries are signed for and a proof of delivery is turned in at the end of each day.
- Understanding the product and item numbers to not deliver the incorrect items or quantities.
- Maintain a professional and kind attitude, if there are any issues or concerns from the customer that you cannot satisfy in the immediate moment have them call the office.
- Operate equipment (forklift, front loader) on occasion.
- Assist in the Yard when needed.
- May occasionally need to load or unload your own truck.

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
