We offer a competitive pay rate of $27.00 per hour. JOB SUMMARY In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations. Your primary goal is to ensure safe and effective delivery while maintaining excellent customer relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites, adhering to all safety protocols. Perform and log daily pre-and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift. Be flexible and accept additional deliveries as required to meet business demands. Utilize a company-issued handheld device for delivery verification and navigation. Operate forklifts and/or overhead cranes as needed. Ensure cleanliness of containers to present them properly to customers. Coordinate rental paperwork and payments with customers efficiently. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries or concerns and prepare driver notes as needed. Carry out repairs on containers and lifts both in the field and at the storage center. Provide support for storage center operations when required. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab, keeping it free from debris inside and outside. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Typically reports to Management, with direct supervisors usually being the Market Manager or Territory Manager. This position
does NOT
have direct responsibility for managing other employees regarding hiring, termination, or pay decisions. PAY RANGE:
$27.00 per hour GENERAL BENEFITS:
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans are available, along with a Paid Time Off plan and safety bonuses for drivers. Boot vouchers and uniforms are provided. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License required without air brake restriction. Maintain a current and valid driver license. Meet PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance requirements. Possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or have the ability to obtain a one-year certification (DOT requirement). Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software preferred. Possess sufficient math skills to fulfill required duties. Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience will also be considered. Ability to attend a mandatory 2-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
