Overview
The Patient Care Tech/CNA performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for patients. PCT/CNA transports patients and prepares patients for MRI procedures. They will assist in performing correct methods for transfer of non-ICU patients to hospital diagnostic care areas. Special clerical or receptionist duties may be assigned to the PCT/CNA. Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate person. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
Education:
High School Graduate or hold a GED certificate.
Completion of an approved nursing assistant course or successfully complete the PCT course by the healthcare facility
Experience:
Clinical experience in a certified nursing assistant program preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire. Certification in the State of Illinois required.
Compensation:
Hourly Range - $15.00-$22.50
Incentives:
Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Bonus:
Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
