Base pay range $40.00/hr - $42.00/hr About The Role As an Advanced Mill-Turn Technician, your expertise will bridge the gap between engineering ideals and tangible aerospace components. Your duties are a symphony of precision, from interpreting blueprints to the meticulous setup and operation of advanced CNC machines. Key Responsibilities Translate blueprints into high-tolerance dimensions for aerospace parts. Expertly configure and operate machines using Mazak, Fanuc, and Siemens CNC controls. Conduct thorough first article (FA) inspections and make necessary adjustments promptly. Work on CNC Mills ranging from 3 to 5 axis, enhancing operational efficiency. Collaborate seamlessly with programmers to streamline setup and enhance productivity. File detailed inspection reports and document essential quality data meticulously. Engage in preventative maintenance to ensure continuous optimal machine performance. Communicate effectively with different departments to maintain workflow harmony. Share your mastery by training peers, fostering an environment of continuous learning. Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized workspace through 5S initiatives. Keep track of tasks and time using our ERP systems to ensure effective management. Skills & Expertise Mastery in troubleshooting and CNC programming. Proficient in machine setups tailored for varying production runs. Strong understanding of shop math and blueprint interpretation. Technological Tools CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC), leveraging Fanuc, Mazak for optimal performance. CNC Mill (5+ axis VMC), employing Fanuc, Mazak technologies.
