The Second Shift CNC Milling Machinist will operate and run vertical and horizontal multi-axis milling machines, including Doosan 3 axis, Nagata 5 axis, and Deckel 5 axis. Responsibilities: Operate vertical and horizontal multi-axis milling and turning machinery under supervision. Utilize manual inspection equipment, such as height stands, micrometers, indicators, dial bores, and verniers. Work with aerospace materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, and nickel alloys. Read and interpret operation sheets and work instructions. Adhere to established policies, company procedures, and standard work. Participate in process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing tools and techniques. Essential Skills: Technical school graduate in machining or one year of CNC Mill Operating experience. Aerospace experience is desired. Basic understanding of math or industrial mathematics. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to read technical drawings. Ability to set, use, or set up various measuring devices. Solid problem-solving skills. Work Environment: The position is on the second shift, from 4:30 PM to 1:00/2:00 AM. Work involves standing or sitting for extended periods on a concrete manufacturing floor, frequent hand and arm movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, moderate twisting and bending, and climbing on step stools or platforms. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $89440.00/yr. 5% bonus potential every March depending on company performance.
