Job Title: CNC Machine OperatorShift: 2nd Shift (2:30p - 1:30a Monday - Thursday)Location: West Jefferson, OhioWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in West Jefferson, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery used in the production of various conduit pipe products, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to production schedules.Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines (lathes, mills, etc.) to produce conduit pipe products according to specifications and blueprints.Load and unload materials, adjust machine settings, and monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.Perform routine checks on machinery and conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Inspect finished products for quality defects, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to established standards using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand product specifications and production requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions and report complex issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.Accurately complete production logs and other required documentation.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably within a manufacturing environment producing pipe, tubing, or similar cylindrical products.Strong understanding of CNC machine operations, including programming, setup, and troubleshooting.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).Solid understanding of safety procedures and best practices in a manufacturing setting.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.Good communication and problem-solving skills.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift and move materials as needed.Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00
