About The Position
A large health system is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage. The facilities are located in Dover and Milford, DE. CRNAs are needed to support 23 points of service across two campuses with an annual case volume of approximately 10,000. Case types include general surgery, ortho, OB, GYN, cardio, thoracic, ENT, urology, endoscopy, neuro, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, and podiatry. Daily staffing includes 8 MDs and 27.5 CRNAs, with adjustments for weekends, PTO, and call schedules. Call includes weeknight shifts from 7 PM7 AM and 24-hour weekend shifts, with post-call days off provided. OB is primarily covered under MD supervision, with upskilling opportunities available. CV cases always include CRNA support, and independent endoscopy practice is under evaluation. Weekend and holiday coverage is more limited, and Delaware licensing takes about 6 months with a 3-month credentialing process.
