We're hiring a Founding Product Designer to lead design across our corporate tax compliance platform. You'll own end-to-end designresearch, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI. You'll work closely with product and engineering to craft enterprise-grade experiences that feel intuitive even amidst regulatory complexity. This is a rare chance to shape tools used by elite finance professionals managing billions in compliance obligations. The core responsibilities for the job include the following: User Research and Strategy: Conduct research with tax professionals (CFOs, CPAs, directors) to map pain points and workflows. Run usability studies and behavioral analysis across multi-step reporting processes. Develop personas and journey maps for varied enterprise roles. Design and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for data-heavy workflows. Design experiences for high-volume, high-stakes compliance use cases. Build and maintain a scalable design system. Enterprise UX Specialization: Design interfaces for collaborative teams handling millions of transactions. Create patterns for data validation, error-prevention, and audit trails. Ensure accessibility and enterprise-grade compliance in all UX decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with PMs to align product goals and UX direction. Collaborate with engineers to ensure seamless design implementation. Support sales and CS teams with design assets for demos and feedback. Requirements: 6+ years in product design, preferably B2B SaaS (finance, legal, compliance tools ideal). Strong command of complex workflow design, usability, and data-intensive interfaces. Expertise in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools with solid prototyping chops. Proven ability to develop and manage enterprise design systems. Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of finance/accounting workflows. Experience with error-prone, compliance-critical environments. Familiarity with enterprise security, accessibility, and audit needs. Preferred: Fintech or accounting tech experience (Intuit, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc. ). Background in finance/accounting. Strength in dashboard and data visualization design. Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and demos.
