Sr. Network Administrator
We're searching for talented Sr. Network Administrators who provide intelligence, engineering, and mission management expertise for the Government. This program will maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of our country's most important missions both at home and abroad. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for: Managing computer systems and networks, including WANs, LANs Creating and restoring systems using various tools Managing network security Providing technical consultation and specialized guidance to management and users Overseeing the IT infrastructure Designing LAN/WAN networks The Senior Network Engineer shall possess the following capabilities: Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks Communicating networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems, or Network Engineering Eight years demonstrable experience (with degree, or 10 without) in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection. Must have datacenter network design and architecture Certifications Required: IAT Level 2 Certification Required Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
