Cat Scan Technologist
Sentara Obici Hospital, located in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring a part time weekend day shift CAT Scan Technologist. Sign On Bonus up to $15K to qualified candidate successfully hired. In this role you will perform computed tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Our department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and is an integral part of our stroke team. We have been recognized with the Patient Experience Chart Topper Award. We conduct an average of 100 scans per day. We have three team leaders to help support you and the patients that we serve. We offer opportunities to cross train to other modalities through our Pulse Radiology Course that is part of our Tuition Assistance program. Shift: Part Time Weekend Day Shift. These are 10-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays; 9am - 7pm. Work hours can be flexible within day shift parameter. 20 hours Education: Trade School Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program Certification/Licensure: Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within two (2) years of hire. The following licenses/certifications may be considered: ARRT Radiation Therapy (T), ARRT Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) BLS through American Heart Association Experience: New graduates may be considered.
