What You'll Do: As a Cloud Architect focusing on Connected Vehicles, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our research projects at ADP. You'll be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud components designed to handle the unique demands of dynamic vehicle data.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and deploy robust cloud systems specifically engineered to handle dynamic data streams originating from connected vehicles. Incorporate diverse storage solutions capable of efficiently managing various data types, including text, images, and more. Develop comprehensive test cases to automatically evaluate and ensure optimal performance metrics of deployed cloud solutions. Stay perpetually up-to-date on the state-of-the-art in cloud computing ideas, components, and software, collaborating closely with our researchers to integrate the latest advancements. Engage in coding, proof-of-concept (POC) development, and demo applications utilizing our test vehicle platform. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering strong partnerships with other teams across the research lab. Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related field. 1-2+ years of cloud development experience in production settings. Strong knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services). Strong cloud architecture knowledge and experience. Proven experience in dealing with large quantities of dynamic data. Experience specifically with image data. Proficiency in Python and Linux. Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) tools. Experience with containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advantageous Qualifications (Plus):
