Teal Health Join as a Surgical Technologist in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (PEDS CVOR), supporting pediatric heart surgeries.
Prepare the OR by sterilizing instruments and equipment specific to pediatric cardiac procedures. Assist surgeons by passing instruments, maintaining sterile technique, and anticipating needs during surgeries. Monitor and document patient information to ensure safety and accuracy. Support patient positioning, prepping, and post-operative care. Maintain supplies and ensure equipment functions properly for pediatric cardiovascular cases.
The role involves working in hospital ORs or surgical centers, requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work with children and families.
