Outpatient duties involve managing a large chronic heart failure outpatient population, evaluating new consults, and providing follow-up care. We also have a telehealth program providing remote care via video visits for patients in distant locations.
Applicants with subspecialty training or experience in heart failure are preferred, though board certification in advanced heart failure and transplantation is not mandatory. Opportunities include participating in research, interpreting nuclear studies, echocardiograms, and performing diagnostic catheterizations, depending on interest and qualifications.
