Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Position Overview: Saline Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled and dependable Travel Cath Lab Technologist to support cardiovascular procedures during day shift hours. The technologist will play an integral role in assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Operate fluoroscopy and radiographic equipment under physician direction Assist with procedures such as angioplasty, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies Monitor patient condition and vital signs throughout procedures Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards Document procedural data, equipment use, and patient responses in the EMR Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other team members for seamless care delivery Maintain equipment functionality and inventory supplies as needed Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist or cardiovascular technology program ARRT or RCIS certification preferred Active state licensure or eligibility in Arkansas Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and procedural protocols Proficient with catheterization lab systems, radiographic imaging, and sterile field techniques Lifepoint Job ID 6-940609.
