Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist - Cardiac Cath Recovery & Support
Location:
Cincinnati, OH 45219 Pay Rate:
$70 - $76/hour (based on experience) Contract Duration:
8 Weeks Shift:
Multiple Shifts Available
Position Summary: Seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist with a focus on post-cath recovery care, hemostasis, and procedural readiness. This role ensures patient stabilization and supports cath lab turnover and readiness while assisting with non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities: • Monitor post-procedure patients for bleeding or complications • Manage sheath removal and pressure dressings • Prep patients for procedures including IV access and medication setup • Document vitals and recovery progress • Provide emotional support and discharge education
Qualifications Experience: • 1-2 years in cath lab recovery, PACU, or telemetry support role • Strong focus on patient safety and post-op care
Education & Certification: • Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Tech or Radiologic Tech program • ARRT (R) - Required • Valid Ohio Radiologic License • BLS (AHA) - Required • ACLS (AHA) - Required within one year of hire
