Position Summary
The Logistics Manager, while reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, oversees the Logistics team and drives the smooth purchase order fulfillment process from order receipt to confirmation of delivery of goods in a 3PL Provider-based environment. Working in tandem with the Supply Chain Operations Manager, this role ensures excellence in service to our customers. This role must excel at managing customer expectations while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment. An affinity for problem solving is a must-have trait. Success is predicated on strong relationships between many stakeholders inside and outside the organization to deliver service improvements and operational & budgetary efficiencies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or similar field preferred, extensive work experience considered
- 5 years of professional experience in a similar fulfillment-related position, 3PL Provider management experience highly favored
- 2 years of experience specific to Direct-to-Consumer fulfillment partner management experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including working with large datasets and advanced functions
- Competence in all aspects of EDI implementation and maintenance
- Ability to support and lead projects across departments
- PowerPoint skills for effective presentations
- Critical thinking skills to consider product, customer, or partner factors
- Effective communication skills
- Accountability and compatibility with Finance requirements
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Oracle ERP systems is a plus
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in Logistics functions and serve as a coach for your team
- Act as an escalatory solution provider for unmet needs
- Monitor inbound warehouse receipt prioritization
- Ensure on-time orders and address carrier issues proactively
- Reconcile domestic warehouse-fulfilled POs weekly
- Maintain service quality and communication
- Identify and remedy carrier failures
- Review and ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements
- Understand product formats and packaging
- Prepare invoices and reports
- Participate in customer and internal meetings
- Develop team capabilities for order processing to delivery
- Review and approve logistics invoices

Physical & Working Conditions
Primarily sedentary office work with occasional lifting (~20 pounds). Some remote work and non-traditional hours are expected, with limited travel.
Performance Standards
Includes a 90-day probation, regular reviews, and an annual performance appraisal.
