Reports to: Director of Behavioral Health Location: Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice in Florida Inc. - Naples Office Classification: Salaried/Exempt Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. provides compassionate, faith-based services rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the Catholic Church. We serve individuals and families of all backgrounds across ten counties in Southwest Florida. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing faith-informed counseling and support services to individuals and families facing personal, emotional, or situational challenges. This role emphasizes helping clients strengthen their life skills, resilience, and overall well-being through goal-oriented care grounded in Catholic values. The clinician will conduct assessments, develop individualized service plans, and provide both in-person and telehealth support, while honoring the spiritual and cultural backgrounds of those served. Job Responsibilities
Conduct client intake assessments and psychosocial evaluations, including applicable diagnostic coding (DSM-5). Develop collaborative, individualized service plans that encourage personal growth, stability, and positive life changes. Provide counseling and support that integrates Catholic values such as compassion, dignity, and respect for the human person. Facilitate individual and group sessions focused on life skill development, emotional well-being, and problem-solving. Complete timely and accurate documentation including progress notes, service plans, and termination summaries in the agency's electronic health record system. Refer clients to appropriate external resources and community services as needed. Uphold Catholic Charities' mission by providing services that reflect integrity, empathy, and social justice. Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and community outreach activities. Support timely access to services for all referred and existing clients. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.
