Shift assignment will be determined at the time of hire (Days shift or Evening shift).This is what makes our team exceptional:State-of-the-art sterilization equipment and technologyA collaborative environment that values precision and efficiencyFlexible scheduling with variable shifts Here's What You NeedHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required1 year of sterile processing experience preferredCSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician required upon hire orCBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution required upon hire orCRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician required upon hireHSPA - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician preferredDetail oriented and strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control protocolsWhat You Will DoPerforms scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label. Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays. Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray.Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the Cenistrac system. Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure. Cleaning of instruments manually and using automated cleaners.Performs tests and documents as directed to ensure proper operation of washers.Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method. Effectively utilizes infection control concepts.
