Description: The Central Sterile Processing Technician provides sterile products and instruments to all members of the health care team. Candidates must be certified. The work schedule is five days a week from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. On-call responsibilities may include 1-2 weekend days or possible holidays every 6 weeks. Candidates should have the ability to read, write, perform basic math, and read temperature gauges. A high school diploma or equivalent education is required. Completion of an appropriate aide training program or a Central Technician program is necessary. Required certification is NICHSPDP Certification.
