Overview
We are seeking a highly collaborative, data-driven, passionate, and self-motivated individual to join our Data, Digital & Analytics team. This position is responsible for leading Medical Analytics & Insights for the North American brands across Oncology, Rare Diseases, and Neuroscience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the North America Medical data, analytics, and reporting strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Develop a roadmap for delivering actionable insights and analytics capabilities.
- Utilize advanced analytics techniques to interpret complex medical datasets and generate strategic insights.
- Create dashboards and reports aligned with KPIs to communicate insights effectively.
- Maintain Medical KPIs and analytics processes within Ipsen's platforms.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs teams to identify data-driven strategies and business needs.
- Work with the broader Data, Digital & Analytics team to integrate medical data with organizational insights.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulations in analytics practices.
- Guide on medical data sets, understanding their nuances and opportunities for insight generation.
- Oversee analytics solutions delivery, ensuring alignment with Medical needs.
- Drive initiatives to demonstrate impact and improve understanding of analytics outputs.
- Measure the impact of Medical initiatives using data and refine KPIs and reporting strategies accordingly.
Qualifications & Experience
- BA/BS in a relevant field; MS or MBA preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in analytics, reporting, or data science roles within pharma or biotech.
- Proven experience supporting Medical Affairs with data insights and reporting.
- Expertise in medical data sets (e.g., RWE, clinical trial data, EMR/EHR, medical engagement data).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical data regulations.
- Experience in designing and tracking Medical KPIs.
- Leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in data storytelling, predictive modeling, descriptive statistics, and data mining.
- Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, SQL.
- Knowledge of CRM and data management platforms such as Veeva, IQVIA, Symphony.
Additional Details
This role is based at our Cambridge, MA office and is not remote. The annual salary range is $212,000 - $260,000, with eligibility for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
