The Process Engineering Technician assists manufacturing, engineering and quality departments. The Technician may assist manufacturing with process elements or process and quality engineers with the testing and gathering of data on various elements of the printed circuit board manufacturing process. Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for assuring manufacturing process is running per procedure or conducting engineering tests Monitors manufacturing process or performs failure analysis for engineering or quality Takes measurements for process control or gathers measurement data for engineering Re-writes documentation to update new practices or writes and prepares reports for engineering or quality Responds to data on process control charts or maintains material movement spreadsheets and reports results Runs tests through production process line or assists process engineer with evaluating data Responsible for all processes within manufacturing and/or support the efforts of engineers Perform process control activities such as measuring product or performing tests Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals Essential Knowledge and Skills
Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong desire and willingness to learn Familiar with PC applications Education and Experience
Associate's Degree (or in final stages of completion) in Engineering, Chemistry, or Manufacturing; or equivalent experience required. Strong math skills, especially statistics Technicians will undergo chemical handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training. Compensation and Benefits

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $42,108 - $66,558 Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
