This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
KBR seeks a highly motivated Chief Engineer (Facilities) to support a government client in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage facilities engineering team responsible for maintenance of facilities, equipment, and machinery supporting daily operations.
- Plan, direct, and manage all phases of equipment, electrical, mechanical, and building systems maintenance, modifications, and projects from design through implementation.
- Interact with the government customer, team members, and contractors on facilities projects.
Qualifications:
Required:
- TS/SCI clearance with willingness to sit for a poly upon request.
- Minimum of eight years of facilities engineering experience.
- US Citizenship.
- HS Diploma or GED with over eight years of experience; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Master HVAC License.
- Refrigeration Certification.
- Experience managing a facilities engineering team and projects.
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems, and building management.
- Experience with operation, replacement, and repair of chillers, generators, pumps, HVAC units, and UPS systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Desired:
- Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program and PE license.
Compensation:
Range: $134,800 - $202,200 (Maryland area)
