Timmons Group is seeking a
Civil Project Manager/Senior Project Manager - Traffic Analysis and Planning
to join our
Traffic Analysis and Planning Group
located in our
Richmond, VA
office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage assigned projects successfully and develop strong client relationships.
Handle marketing, business development, technical quality, profitability, scheduling, staff coordination, client communication, scope and fee negotiations, billing, and fee collection assistance.
Maintain superior relationships with clients and cross-sell Timmons Group services; communicate regularly with the Office Manager and Transportation Group Leader.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including several mid-sized, small, or larger projects.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Professional registration (P.E., PTOE, etc.) in applicable states preferred.
8-10 years of experience in roadway design, traffic, and transportation engineering, especially with VDOT or local Virginia governments.
Understanding of project accounting, schedule, and budget management across multiple projects.
Experience in marketing and supervising technical staff.
Knowledge of technical and office software, including MicroStation and traffic analysis tools (Synchro, VISSIM, etc.).
Professional attitude, effective communication skills, and team-oriented mindset.
