Apply remote type: 100% Remote Locations: Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Colorado-Remote Type: Full time Posted on: Posted 2 Days Ago Job requisition ID: R2521804 General Adjuster / Associate General Adjuster - Field - Opportunity Preferred locations include Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, or San Francisco, but consideration will be given to immediate surrounding states in the Western regions. ***** Note: Candidates will be considered for either the General Adjuster or Associate General Adjuster position based on experience. ***** The experienced candidate will plan, recommend, reserve, and execute investigations, valuation, disposition, and settlement of large commercial property claims, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory, regulatory, and ethical standards across the U.S. The role involves working towards fair and timely claim resolutions, assessing indemnity and expense exposures, reporting to a Property Major Case Manager, and collaborating within a team environment. Mentoring of less experienced Adjusters may also be part of the role. Company Car Driver. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a full file General Adjuster handling complex property losses over $300,000, or 3+ years managing moderately severe commercial property claims as a Claim Adjuster. For Associate General Adjusters: 3+ years of experience managing moderately severe property claims. Strong knowledge of commercial claims, insurance coverage interpretation, and some personal lines claims experience. College degree or equivalent experience. Proven high performance and achievement. Cost estimation skills, preferably with Xactimate, and computer proficiency. Experience handling Business Income Losses. Knowledge of regional jurisdictional issues. Disciplined time management and organizational skills, self-reliant work ethic. Availability for nationwide catastrophe operations. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel). Reside in the Western region, with preferences for Phoenix, AZ; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO; or San Francisco, CA. Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 5Mbps upload / 30Mbps download). Compensation: The annual base pay ranges from $84,400 to $126,600, based on market analysis and individual experience and performance. Compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and recognition.
