Activelysearching for a Claims Leader
in liability claims management looking for a high-visibility opportunity to shape team performance and claims strategy. Representing a growing and respected insurance carrier, this is a
direct-hire leadership role
working
onsite and reporting directly to the carrier . About the Role: This position offers a chance to
lead a seasoned team of adjusters
who handle liability claims across
Auto Bodily Injury (BI), Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM), and Homeowners Liability . If you're ready to make a strategic impact, not just oversee daily workflows, this is the role for you. You'll be the
go-to resource for technical claims expertise , litigation management, and best practices. From auto losses to residential premise liability claims, your influence will be seen across every stage of the claims process. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team
of supervisors overseeing personal auto, homeowners, and General liability claims. Oversee claim handling
from investigation through resolution for bodily injury, property damage, and legal liability exposures. Collaborate with legal counsel
on litigated and complex claims—acting as a point of contact for defense attorneys, plaintiffs, and insureds. Review and approve reserves, settlements, and coverage decisions
to ensure accuracy and compliance. Champion timely documentation, superior customer service , and adherence to regulatory requirements. Drive continuous improvement
by identifying claim trends and implementing process enhancements. Manage daily operations
of the carrier's local office, ensuring service and performance excellence. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience
handling auto liability (BI, UM/UIM), homeowners’ liability, and/or general liability claims. With at least
2 of the 5years in leadership experience
within a carrier, TPA, or claims organization. Skilled in
litigation oversight
and collaboration with legal professionals, mediators, and subject matter experts. Strong knowledge
of insurance policy interpretation, multi-state regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. Exceptional communication, coaching, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Multi-line claims background
(auto, property, and general liability). Active state
adjuster licenses
