QSSHire is partnering with a secure government customer to identify a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support technical delivery in a classified environment. This is not a business analyst or requirements role, this opportunity is for a true developer with a proven ability to deliver custom ServiceNow applications and integrations. If you're a cleared technologist who thrives on building scalable, high-impact ServiceNow solutions in mission-driven settings, this position offers a chance to make your code count. This role requires 100% on-site work in Chantilly, VA and an active Full Scope Polygraph. In This Role, You'll: Design, develop, and implement advanced ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations. Build and maintain automation scripts, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and custom widgets. Create and consume REST/SOAP APIs to support platform integration across systems. Collaborate directly with system architects and project leads to translate business needs into scalable technical outcomes. Support Agile delivery and version-controlled deployments using enterprise DevSecOps tools. Deliver technical documentation and participate in peer reviews and platform governance activities. You'll Succeed Here If You Have: An active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) this is required. 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with strong command of JavaScript and Glide API. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field. Background in delivering secure solutions across core ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, custom apps). Experience working in high-side environments or supporting federal government programs. A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in an on-site cleared environment. Strong skills in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing ServiceNow performance. Bonus Points If You Have: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Application Developer (CAD). Experience with scoped applications and custom UI development (e.g., Service Portal). Familiarity with infrastructure automation and tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Ansible. Knowledge of Sponsor-specific IT systems and deployment processes. Why QSSHire?
