They are seeking a Cobol Developer to provide full life cycle development with COBOL, troubleshoot problems, communicate with users, and document changes following the Systems Development Life Cycle process. Responsibilities: Provide full life cycle development with COBOL Understand coding standards and implement them within code being developed Troubleshoot problems and provide solutions Communicate with users to determine problems or design requirements Work individually or on a team to complete programming projects in a timely manner Document changes and follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process independently Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Application Development Qualifications: Experience in COBOL programming and mainframe environment Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS Strong communication skills with both business and technical communities Strong analytical skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail Ability to work with APIs to/from source systems High School diploma or equivalent BS or BA in Computer Science or related field Company: Derex Technologies Inc provides cosmetics, beauty, and marketing services.
