Starting Salary Range: $75,518 - $90,621 GGRC is currently hiring for a Supervisor, Community Resource Development who will be responsible for the development of new resources (CPP and non CPP) to address unmet service needs and the maintenance of existing resources. Responsible for housing development and acting as liaison to housing development organizations (HDO's). Provides regular supervision to Resource Developers. This role offers a hybrid schedule offering the opportunity to work out of office in San Francisco, CA. This role will also require you to travel within the Counties of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin. Occasional statewide travel to sites throughout California. Access to reliable transportation permitting travel to and between many different locations throughout the day to perform the outlined responsibilities of the position. Staff Management
Set clear expectations for performance and provide support, feedback, coaching, and recognition; redirect staff as needed. Proactively address performance concerns by documenting performance discussions and consulting with Manager and Human Resources to create performance development plans and/or pursue appropriate disciplinary action. Hire staff, and subsequent coaching and evaluation of assigned staff Thoroughly train, evaluate, and/or monitor new staff. Communicate and coordinate with Manager and HR to ensure that any and all performance concerns are addressed on a timely basis. Assigns and supervises resource development projects including program design review and completion of vendor paperwork. Support staff to anticipate, address, and resolve complex issues and concerns. Assume responsibility for escalated issues. Set achievable goals for staff to meet unit's needs and to develop staff. Complete comprehensive and timely performance appraisals. May serve as back up for 'Developmental Center Liaison' and 'Resource Developer. Resource Development
Develop annual Community Placement Plans with DDS consultation and approval, including management of: consumer placement/deflection efforts, start-up projects, operations/staff resources, fiscal year budgets Manage resource development projects, including development of new CPP resources Manage Request for Proposals (RFP) to develop new resources Develop project plans, budgets and timeframes for residential homes and other service development. Manage, or assist in managing, ongoing meetings with staff, vendors, and community partners to meet project requirements, action steps and deadlines. Inform manager and project team of any delays or issues when they arise. Review program designs to provide feedback and approval vendor in compliance with state regulations and agency procedures Understand the budget process in order to work with service providers and clients Completes vendorization paperwork, including processing new vendorizations and vendor changes. Assists in developing policies and procedures related to resource development and evaluation of services purchased by the Regional Center. Compile and analyze information on resources. Determine unmet needs and assist in planning for resource development. Oversees the research and identification of unmet need for services/resources and assist in identification, recruitment and contracting with service providers; ensures that information and technical assistance are provided to potential and current service providers. Oversees the development of new providers for residential and program resources. Respond to and resolve calls, requests, inquiries, feedback, and complaints/concerns in a timely manner, ensure supervised staff does the same. Community Collaboration
Cooperate and collaborate with Service Providers, community groups, social service agencies, advocacy groups, and Federal, State, and local governments. Conduct and/or participate in a variety of meetings, conferences, and/or committee, including division planning, management of staff, community, interagency, core staff, purchase of service, out-of-home placement, facility liaison, etc. Represent GGRC at community and interagency meetings in community and within Northern California Maintains current knowledge and keeps staff and providers apprised of relevant legislation, regulations, trends and developments in the field of developmental disabilities. Develops and coordinates in-service training programs for staff, individuals served, families and community agencies, and act as agency liaison to the community. Housing
Acts as liaison to Housing Development Organizations (HDO). Oversees implementation of housing plans/contracts in regards to purchase and renovation of properties under the agencies Community Placement Plan (CPP). Assists in the development of the agencies annual Community Placement Plan. Acts as a liaison to assist in mediating tenant issues. Works to ensure the residences of individuals supported are safe and provide a healthful environment. Shares information with Quality Assurance and Service Coordinators regarding living conditions. Assists service coordinators in coordinating community and client resources to correct any housing problem that is unsafe or unfit living conditions. Research housing opportunities/community development. Attend meetings with potential community housing agencies. Attend service site visits as needed to assess appropriateness for service provision. Other Duties
Maintain confidentiality of all information on persons supported in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), federal and state laws, and the Lanterman Act. Ensure consents to release information are provided when appropriate. May be assigned other duties as needed.
